As a graduate student, I should be busy with academic stuff, exams, thesis or projects. But I guess most of my time have been spent here on the internet.
Due to our delayed stipends, I was encouraged to have a part-time job online, as an English tutor. If you love teaching or you just need a part-time job, then maybe you can also be a part of Rarejob. The lessons are held through skype and the students are Japanese. I just joined in Rarejob last June and I have been enjoying it. It is a good way of sharing what you learn, and at the same time learning about their culture, sharing different points of view, and enhancing your speaking skills. The schedule is also flexible, which is more convenient for students.
The next in line are group deals, which I started to watch out for last June I guess. I think it was Facebook which introduced me to this kind of game, maybe I saw it in the ads. First, I bought mega deals KFC vouchers. Next, I purchased two Splash Island tickets worth Php 250.00 each in Ensogo and the discount was more than 50% of the original price. After that, I then began to look for other deals online. Aside from these deals, I was also hooked in Ebay. I already bought two sets of items. Sometimes, it is fun just searching for items.
And the last, the paid-to-click sites which I have already started last year. I just stopped on maintaining them since I became busy with my laboratory reports. Now, I am having fun clicking ClixSense, WordLinx, and NeoBux.
Those things I mentioned, in one way or another, involves money, either by earning or by spending. However, I would like to take note that I am more than that. I still love to edit some pictures, create a typography or a photo collage, and post them on Facebook or Tumblr. I also love to download movies and drama series in the internet and watch them after. I also like to look for tourist spots online and travel to different countries and different places here in the Philippines.
Indeed, I still love to do different sorts of things... So what makes me busy?

Safety is unsure...
Nowadays, when technology can make anyone a criminal, safety can never be assured. In the Internet, you can never be sure of your privacy. You will never know when will your identity details have reached someone who is planning to kill you. You may never tell when someone called you, pretending to be a friend who is in the hospital and needs money for the medication, but just wanted to fool you without you knowing it.
We are not that perfect in voice recognition. Who knows, this criminal will also target your child, mother, sister, or friend as the next victim. Who knows, he or she will not only get your money but also your or their lives. As we can see, anyone can be easily fooled and the best thing to do is to prevent this.
If only there is a speech recognition software that can help us prevent such circumstances, life may be safer. As human, we are capable of making mistakes but if we make a software that can do speech recognition, then such problems can be avoided.

Valentine's Day Blues...
It is not true that only singles are alone during this day... There are also people who have loved ones but are not by their side. It is not easy for anyone to just sit back, relax and enjoy the moment looking at those sweet love birds who just came out of their cage, while you know you can't even experience that same excitement they had. Well, that is the sad part of being in a long distance relationship. You can not even look for a substitute date, you may but me, I would not even dare. Yet you can still have other options to ease that sadness in your eyes...
Hang out with your family. They miss you more than you do... Or you can call your friends and plan for a party at your house or outside. Spend the day without thinking that you are unlucky not to have your man around. At the end of the day, call him or chat with him. It may be a bit sad to see him but it can ease your loneliness, that somehow, it is not only you who is fighting the battle of misery. Enjoy yourselves and feel the moment, like you are face-to-face with him and distance is just a mindset.
Maybe these things will work. But mind you, there is no way that you should hide and lock yourself just because your date is not around. Love is in the air, this air may be a thousand miles away....

Miss No Good Last Episode
The Taiwanese drama series Miss No Good just finished its story in its 14th episode. Xiao Ha's hair went back to its natural curls and so she also went to back to her original fashion taste... the girl who dresses like a Christmas tree that she have to wear all sorts of colors. Jia Si Le went to Germany and asked Tang Men to go back to Taiwan for Xiao Ha. Xiao Ha was on her way home when she rode in a cab and suprised to find out that a guy had called that cab first. She was not surprised because someone had called it, instead she was surprised to recognize that familiar voice from a bad tongue. She saw Tang Men and they recalled the first encounter they had. Tan Men bought an apartment because he wanted to marry her. After the contract of five years, he will return to Taiwan and they will be together forever. Giang Mi and Si Le will be married. The story ended with Xiao Ha and Tang Men riding on Xiao Ha's scooter with their pajamas on the streets. There was a flashback of their funny and sad moments... It was fantastic...

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is the sixth book of J.K. Rowling. I was expecting this movie to be released on November 2008. However, to our dismay, it was not released. I was wondering what happened. I just saw the new trailer, I don't have any idea why they changed the release date and even the trailer. Anyway, I just hope that it will still be fantastic and superb. This will be in theaters on July 17, 2009. Here are some of the pictures and the new trailer...
