Stop AIDS and spread the word...

,December 1, 2008 is the 20th anniversary of World AIDS Day... I am 20 years old and from thinking about this, I was born the same year when World AIDS Day was formed. It has been 20 years when the people of the world first joined their hands and hearts in stopping the spread of AIDS however, the worse this global epidemic becomes as every year passes. There are many victims who suffered and died. But what we do not know is that more victims are suffering now or more and more victims will suffer soon if this will still continue.

As the youth of today, we have a very big role and responsibility in taking a part in this campaign. We are the future of today and what we will do will create a big impact for tomorrow. We need everyone to spread the word, touch a heart and heal this illness. One voice is not enough but if this voice is very loud and clear enough, it can truly make a difference especially when this echoes to the world.

Imagine life if this epidemic problem will not be stopped. Imagine your friend who will be suffering and will die helpless because of AIDS. Or worse, imagine yourself being infected with this virus. You may not think about this now because it may not involve you but you will never know when it will affect you, maybe not now but maybe tomorrow. There are more things to do to save the world from AIDS...to save your friend or...to save yourself.

Act now. Help and stop AIDS...
